What’s this?
This interactive map is one of the places where we are collecting the stories being produced during the One River, Many Stories project.
How to use the map:
Zoom in and out on the map and click on the numbered icons. Each icon represents a story.
Scroll through the icons at the bottom of the map and click on them. When you do that, a link will appear to the story and the map will show you the place the article is about.
Want your story included?
We will continue to monitor social media looking for stories that use our hashtags: #OneRiverMN or #ChiGamiZiibi. But you can also email us at onerivermanystories@gmail.com with a link to your story and we’ll add it that way.
Want to put the map on your website?
It’s very easy to host this same map on your own website. Contact us and we’ll give you the embed code. (We can also explain to you what an “embed code” is.)
The map was created by One River, Many Stories intern Britta Hardel, who is a Geography and Geographic Information Science major at UMD.
